Everytime I ride my 650 someone comes up to me and says they didn't know BMW made scooters. The latest was an old HD rider with bad knees who asked me where the Cleveland Dealers were. I just wish that there was a better name than "scooter".

Dish detergent is very harsh and will remove wax. I use a quality auto wash product and not a lot and then wax with a good polymer but not with carnauba which is yellow. Polymer also doesn't leave white in the creases.

I bought a Shark EVO 3 which is DOT certified open or closed with chinbar down and locked. Mouth and teeth are prone to injury. I have too much invested in my teeth to break them. I ride with chinbar down always. Cons. The helmet is heavy and somewhat noisy.

Ordered mine from dealer today. Cost $70.00. The dealer said BMW not honoring warranty for this piece and he has seen four replaced as well as missing fuel doors during BMW product introduction. I will escalate the issue after I get the door.

These mirrors mounted on a helmet would drive me crazy. BUT one might glue onto the left bar end and be perfect. I am also thinking about the Nfield Velcro attached mirror mentioned earlier with the advantage of removability.
