My dealer here in Norway ordered a new seat from BMW just from seeing the photos - so I guess this is know to BMW. So if any of you guys on this forum experience the same then just claim guarante and ask for new seat cover.

I have a one year old CE04 and have noticed after some warm sunny days that the grey part of the seat became kind of sticky - similar to uv damage on inflatable boats. When I study the fabric I can see micro cracks. I have reported this to the dealer and are waiting for feedback from BMW. FYI...
