I am guessing that you had the service done at around 520 miles.
When the bike reaches 620 you get the service due message.
Whoever preformed the service should have reset the Service indicator.
Perhaps they thought they did.
Maybe call them and ask.
It can be done with a GS-911 tool...
I bet you can install an urban screen with a GS-911 tool.
I installed the R1250R Screen and Sport screen on my C400X scooter.
Both original screens put back at the BMW dealers request to avoid any complications as they purchased it from me in a px.
With my GS-911 tool plugged in yesterday I found this screen.
I believe I could change from miles to kilometres. But didn’t try.
Next time it’s plugged in. I will see if I can select both. Then get the option to change in the bike menu.
Also just noticed ‘pressure unit’ perhaps there might be...
In answer to your question. Grip heating is clear enough. Just adjusted from 5 setting to 6.
You can adjust the % levels for each setting.
I was unable to find any adjustments for the heated seat or GPS.
Please post a picture of the mount. Then we can try and advise you.
I currently have a QUADLOCK phone mount on my rear brake master cylinder.
However, considering fitting the BMW mount. Then fitting my BMW Nav 6 or my 7” Carpuride.
My way of thinking.
I was very unimpressed with the original Speedo on my C400X. Especially as I also own a R1250GS Adventure.
The cost of a GS-911 tool is around £350 in the UK for the Wi-fi version.
If you buy the non-Wi-fi version it’s about £100 cheaper. So £250.
You can use it to...
Just a quick update to my post.
Went for a quick spin today and as soon as the scooter got to 5000 rpm the whole speedo flashed on and off.
This happened on all three screens.
Very annoying. So I changed to the music screen till I got home.
Connected the GS-911 into the port and had a look...
Having purchased a GS-911 a short while ago I have finally decided to have a play.
Well I am absolutely delighted I did!
Last week I was able to add a nicer screen to my R1250GS Adventure. Plus a Sport screen.
I have always been rather underwhelmed by the two Speedo screens on my 2023 C400X...
I guess nearly all the UK BMW dealers sell Cars these days.
It hasn’t always been the case. We previously had Bike only dealers.
Circular cover on rack is power to a top box.
Looks similar to the R1300GS.
Perhaps they’re looking to standardise on these sort of things.
Plus a few of the new C400GT.
Small fault spotted on the rear part of the seat.
If I hadn’t just changed my car and bike. I might be tempted with the new GT.
I purchased a new GS911 a few weeks ago from Nippy Norman. They were on special offer @ £250 posted instead of £360.
Not used it yet as I had my bike serviced just before Christmas at Sytner Shrewsbury.
I mainly purchased it to change the screens on my R1250 GS Adventure.
Not got around to...
The new spec C400GT is available in the UK. As well as the C400X.
They were both on show at my local BMW dealers.
As it’s only 10 miles away. I will try and take some photos next time I’m there.
