My local BMW dealer determined that the gas cap was defective and will be replaced under warranty
2,attempts were made to solve the poorly installed and rattling TFT screen without success
The popping exhaust is likely a software glitch connected to BNW’s efforts to comply with Euro 5 Plus...
The Yamaha Maxi scooter has a chain that never needs replacing
BMW’s engineers came up with a drive belt that lasts 20,000kms and will cost you over $1000 to replace
The belt alone is a $400 part
£82 in the UK
If you check you’ll find that the entire BMW range suffers from keyless drive gas...
Bought a new 2024 earlier this year
With 3000kms on the clock these are the issues so far:
Cannot open the keyless ride gas cap without a screwdriver
The TFT Connectivity screen vibrates noisily and continuously
The exhaust “pops” when decelerating and hesitates when accelerating
In the...
When you say “crankshaft broken” do you mean that a bearing failed , or that the engine seized due to a lack of lubrication (oil dilution by excessive fuel)
Were the parts sent BMW for examination?
Are you in the USA?

Did your scooter receive the software updates (from the Dealership)

Download the manual for...

Re which gas to use, it generally accepted that in the long term ethanol will damage engine seals and reduces the optimal performance of the engine at higher revs particularly with smaller capacity engines and those with high compression ratios
The scoot sports a 11.5:1 compression ratio
So go...
Correction:
1. date of the PDI OR the production date (date of manufacture)
2. BMW China not BNW China
Every single C400 is built under licence by Loncin in China
Mine has a German VIN which resulted in a higher insurance quote
When it comes to brake fluid changes the manual states every 2 years. Is this calculated from the date of the PDI production date (date of manufacture? We just picked up a brand new 2024 C400GT with 0kms . The build date was December 2023. What do you think is best for the scoot? BMW Canada has...
