Last weekend I installed the Clearwater Lights Can5 canopener and Billie brake light. The alarm module is located under the front panel above the headlight and under the turn signal bracket. The cable on the Billie was not long enough to reach the front of the bike so I used the included remote light wiring to hook it up. I spent about three hours installing, most of which was spent planning the cable routing and figuring out how to remove the trim panels without braking them. Most every panel is a snap in affair with at least one fastener.

Good work here! Do you know if the canopener will power aftermarket taillights (brakes, turn signals, and running lights)? I've tried to replace the rear taillights with Kellerman Bullets and Denali T3s, but BMW has the rear lights running off two of the 4 wires, so the amber portion of the lights won't illuminate. I've run Kellerman Bullets and Denali T3 rear lights off a Hex ezCan on my S1000XR, but they don't make one for the CE 04. Frustrating because the stock lights don't look very nice and seem dangerous without a set up like yours.
