BMW C 650 Wheels - Front & Rear - Powder coated Gold

There you go, BMW goes to great lengths to decrease "un sprung" weight, and you cover the wheels with one of the heaviest elements!!
(No responses needed as this was a joke)

Yep it is only the light weight Gold colored powder. At $1300 an oz I made sure they didn't use the heavy real Gold stuff for the coating. :)

Ahhh, I was hoping you had some cool different wheels. Been wondering if some larger wheels might fit. Evevn 1 inch would open up more choices in tires

Going to a bigger wheel would change the final drive ratio in a big way. On a Lambretta going from a 3.5" wide tire to a 4" wide tire increases the final drive by an entire gearbox. It's like going from a 150cc gearset to a 200cc gearset.

Sometimes "cool" should overrule. The idea of wheels with a gold powder coating is cool.

Of course, you would have to clean those things on a regular basis to really benefit from the show-off value.

Yeah, personally I'd powder coat mine a semi-gloss black to more effectively hide the brake dust...

Upgrade to better pads. ALL German pads are notorious for massive dusting. Back in the day, at the shop we upgraded all the BMW's and MB's to better aftermarket pads from the organic/semi-organic OEM. More than doubled the pad life, greatly improved braking and feel, and cut the dusting by 75%.
