Hi guys,I have purchased second hand C400GT it has been delivered to me with flat battery. I have charged the battery, but the bike won’t start. I can hear buzzing noise underneath of the bike for 3 seconds while pressing start button. Anyone know what that could be?

I'm not an engineer, not a mechanic, etc., but I can offer a few suggestions. I don't mean to insult you -- just trying to be complete, in case you're new to bikes in general, scooters in particular, and so forth:

1) Kill switch in the run position?

2) Bike on the centerstand, with sidestand up?

3) You're squeezing one of the brake levers when you go to start it?

4) You have some petrol in the tank, right?

5) Have you had the battery "load tested"? That's a little different than just measuring the voltage of a battery, and over here in the USA most auto-parts stores (and some dealerships) will do that for free, if you bring in the battery. Put another way, I wonder whether the battery is any good, even if you've charged it (using a smart-charger, Battery Tender, type of charger?).

Other than that, you could have more complicated issues, from what I've read ... in order to get the required spark, fuel, and air needed to start any internal combustion engine.

Couple of general questions for you:

- What year is the GT?

- Do you know when it actually last ran, i.e., when the engine was last successfully started?

Good luck with your troubles.
