I’m a newbie. Getting a 2023 BMW CE04 this week. It comes with the optional quick charger. I’m a little confused. So is that an onboard charger that comes with a cable and can charge at a quicker rate if the charger allows it? I have a Tesla wall connector at home. Can I get the fastest charging speed if I use my home charger with a Tesla tap mini? And if so which one? 30amp, 60amp? My charger has 6/2 wire and a 60am breaker. So I’m assuming the 60am but it shows online the onboard charger is 30amp. Or should I buy the bmw charger and wire it up at home? Thx in advance.

With the quick charger mount in the scooter you are able to charge up to 30 amp instead of max 10 amp on regular charger.
Remember your cable is a type 2 so no quick charge like the tesla. I would check with your dealer about the 60 amp charger before connecting to it you can use the charger (cable) that come with the scooter in the mean time just to be safe. Maybe you can ask Triangle Tom for advise about it, I'm sure he know more than me about it.

Appreciate you. I read you can use Tesla destination chargers, which is the same as my home charger. My question really is which Tesla tap mini is everyone using, the 30 amp or 60 amp ?
