Connect sat nav to 12v battery

Hi,
I have a garmin zumo sat nav which i always connected to my ICE bikes directly to the 12 volt battery terminals.
Is it safe to do this on an EV bike? Would it interfere with starting the bike or anything?

I thought about getting a usb c to mini a adapter and powering it by the phone charger, but this wont work in the rain.
I know i can mirror the gps phone screen but my phone is credit, not bill pay.

Also, has anyone seen a satnav bracket for this bike for sale?

There is a factory connector under the cover on the handlebars It is also switched power I used a ram ball to mount a factory gps holder

Update:
So I saw on another post there is a connecter under the plastic bar cover
It is infact a bmw gps plug. I mounted a factory nav holder and plugged right in
Powers up and down fine but this particular mount doesn’t do modbus comunication
I am wondering if a newer gs mount would
I am using a chigee bmw aio5 for carplay
And can easily swap to nav 6. Also it’s easy to transfer between my. GSA and my scoot
