Made this carrier using a top plate I bought online. Have tried two types of mirrors. Wing style definitely give more restricted view but have had worse. Not sure which ones I'll stick with. Windscreen causes a lot of buffeting. May go back to original, especially for summer. Levers feel great and stick out less. Bar ends also reduce width. Wider (and weighty) stock items are not needed for vibration reduction.20250508_171026.webp20250508_110645.webp20250501_133711.webp20250508_110816.webp20250426_171346.webp

Completely off topic, although I will need a top case once I make my choice. I'm in Perth. Just asking your opinion; should I get the quick charge option or standard. Do you ever have the need for public quick charging ? I have a choice between a dealer demo White standard charge or avant-garde with 7000km quick charge.

It's hard to say and it depends on your use case. I have only had my CE04 a few months and I still have not used any public charging. I think it will be very rare that I take it on a ride long enough where I will need a public charge, but I'm sure I will be happy to have the fast charger when I do. We also have 2 electric cars and we only use public chargers a few times a year when we go on longer country trips. We usually charge all our vehicles at home at around 10-15 amps (2.4 - 3.6kW) so as to get all our charging from our solar system. However, it is convenient at times to be able to fast charge up to 11kW at home, which the CE04 can also do with the fast charging option. Again it's very infrequent. Otherwise you are restricted to 8 or 10 amps.

Get the quick charge option, plus, yeah, very off topic.
Keep the shiny side up
