Hi everyone,

I wanted to share my experience fitting the new 2025 BMW C 400 GT handguards (part no. 77315B4EE35) onto my 2024 C 400 GT. Here’s what I found:
  • Fitment:
The 2025 handguards bolt straight onto the 2024 handlebars with no modifications required. All mounting points line up perfectly.
  • Turning Clearance:
When you turn the bars fully to either side, the handguard edges make very light contact with the lower edge of the windshield. In my case, this contact is so minimal that it doesn’t affect steering feel or cause noticeable wear. If you don’t mind a tiny bit of rubbing, you’ll be absolutely fine.
  • Cost & Availability:
In Belgium, the dealer price for these handguards is €110 per set. Considering their build quality and perfect “bolt-on” fit, for me, thats OK

If you’re riding a 2024 C 400 GT and are considering the 2025 handguards for a bit more wind protection, I’d say go for it! Feel free to ask any questions or share your own fitment notes.

Ride safe!

Hi Bill,

Thanks for the kind words! It’s a Carpuride 702 Pro that I fitted to my scooter about two months ago and have ridden roughly 4,500 km (≈ 2,800 mi) since. I mainly use the C 400 GT for touring.
I mounted the Carpuride using the Wunderlich Universal Device Carrier C 400 GT (Part No. 21095-102). Power comes from the 12 V plug under the handlebars (the same socket BMW provides for the OEM nav), and I used BMW’s original repair connector, soldered to the Carpuride’s wiring harness.

So far I’m really pleased with its fit, reliability and ease of use.

Ride safe,

@PeterP :

What @Rugerbear is asking above (and I can sort of speak for him, because we've had some private conversations about this topic) is: could you provide some details, regarding how and where you did the routing of the power cord from the Carpuride?

Specifically, in that first post above, it's not clear what happens in the area that we can't see from the picture. I have added an arrow to your picture, to clarify the area that we're talking about:

Thanks.

Looks like he came out of the center steering and let it be exposed. I’m going to see if I can keep it hidden.
Yeppers, it kind of looks that way. I'm not thrilled with having a cord run right next to a moving handlebar cover, but maybe we're wrong.

But I can't figure out another way, at the moment, aside from the way I added a USB port to the top of the dash (see my phone-holding pic at https://billanddot.com/C400GT/#S-185, in that case using a USB-A port, but I imagine that there are USB-C flush-mounted ports, too).

Hi about the handguard does it deflect the wind well , i mean i saw some chinese one that looks more bigger than this , what's your opinion, thanks a lot
