A previous owner tore off the fuel tank access cover (don't ask me how) it is off a 2013 c-650-gt color ios grey. This very expensive part from BMW if you have one for sale let me know. Thanks

When opened the fuel cap cover interfered with the trunk lid on the early models. Only happened to knuckleheads, though. Here's what I did with mine.

It's only 30 bucks for the one on a 2013 c600. I did tear mine off since it is pretty easy to forget to get off the bike before opening the access and swinging your leg through the step through. The BMW shop botched the replacement so ended up installing a complete new cover and housing. It is a pretty cheap piece of plastic and only held together with plastic snap. It is easy to kluge an almost invisible repair...just use some black/grey epoxy putty on the hinge area, but ensure you put a layer of saran wrap between the axle and housing so it will still move.
