Hi, Still haven’t pulled the pin and got myself one yet so thought I would ask on this forum, Is there a neutral setting or position on this bike so it will freewheel whether turned on or not.

I'm no hope to finding you an answer, but I really hope there's some way to turn on coasting. I really like this scooter, but coming from a motorcycle it's beyond frustrating that without a clutch I cannot take my right hand off the throttle for even a quarter second. The regen braking is so strong there's no way to safely adjust a mirror or even scratch your nose. I personally feel this is dangerous, and frankly unacceptable.

I see your point but I’m trying to kind out if the bike could be flat towed with the front wheel attached to the vehicle tow bar on a carrier with the rear wheel on the ground. I’ve been looking into the different methods of carrying a motorcycle.
I just want the rear wheel to rotate without doing any damage to the bike. Mind you I’ve seen a YouTube video of a Tesla being flat towed behind another vehicle to recharge the battery.

Hello,

The scooter can be moved / wheeled when turned off, or when turned on, as long as the side-stand is in. The side stand, when out, activates the parking brake, so the scooter cannot be moved while the side stand is out.

The user manual explains transporting and securing the scooter with straps on a trailer. There is no information on towing the scooter on its rear wheel.

I hope this helps.

Thank you, at least I know the rear wheel and drive system can be detached from the motor, I will ask the BMW dealer.
My wishful thinking is to be able to flat tow the 04 or maybe the 02 behind the soon to be new toy a Maxus eTerron 9 pickup.
