I don’t have a good answer for you, as I have a C 400 GT (which for unknown reasons doesn’t have a TPMS, although your older scooter, as well as the other current scooter, the CE-04, does).View attachment 5252
This error comes and goes on my 2016 C650GT. I have checked the rear tyre pressure and it’s at 42psi which my local bmw motorrad recommended me. Need help or advice please

HOWEVER;
1) You have made duplicate posts, and this is going to get messy.
Could you please edit the title and text of the OTHER post, to read something like “Ignore” and “Please respond to other post,” respectively?
Otherwise, some responses are likely to be in different threads, which will be very confusing.
2) Regarding the actual problem:
A) Have you tried running with a cold pressure somewhat lower? 42 seems pretty high to me, so I wonder whether the problem will go away if you start out with, say, 36 or 38.
B) I also wonder whether it’s a battery issue with a sensor. Do you know how old the sensor batteries are in your wheels? Have the original sensors ever been replaced?
I'm sorry, I've made 3 tire pressure sensor purchases, they were all made in China, and it's "hit or miss" as to what will work. I found them on EBAY using the BMW part number,Thanks a lot Pappy13!
Any chance you have the link for the knockoffs that worked for you?
Awesome, appreciate it! Did you buy it with the valve or just the sensors?I'm sorry, I've made 3 tire pressure sensor purchases, they were all made in China, and it's "hit or miss" as to what will work. I found them on EBAY using the BMW part number,
2x TPMS 8532732 Tire Pressure Sensor For BMW Motorcycle C600 Sport C650 433MHz
the last ones I bought came from Gangle Products and even had the Schneider(sp?) name on the sensors, but they were just copies of the original.
In a perfect world you would be correct, but with my 2013GT I would get high readings, low readings and the double dash up until the battery died and only got the double dash. The weak battery corrupts the signal and affects the measure until it no longer has enough battery to connect. I verified the readings with my air gauge, I would get a low pressure alarm with a reading on the dash of 18lbs, check with my gauge and have 34lbs, would crank back up, take a ride and the low pressure alarm would again come on, after a ride of 6 or 8 miles the reading would go back to normal, another 15 to 20 miles and the double dash lights up. Eventually the double dash becomes constant but I had already ordered a replacement and was waiting on a tire replace before changing the sensor. Why not order one from a BMW dealer, they can ship it to you? It is under $200 if you pick up.
However, if the battery dies you're supposed to see "--" in the readouts, like "no value" . Not "High Pressure".
For "high pressure", as well as "low pressure" there are two gradations, yellow blinker and red blinker + actual numbers are shown.
Which one you're getting, and is there a readout (number) shown in the RDC info menu, or "--"?
Yes, that works as well (I've done it with my GS-911) then I learned how to just input the serial number from the sensor and have the bike "look for it". As I re-read the post I have to ask if the RDS CAL is viewed from the scoot (mine is a 2013, so if yours is a later version it may have features mine doesn't). But if you're looking at it from a separate scan tool then you may be able to enter the serial number and the next time you ride it works...I wonder what would happen if you just ran RDS CAL procedure from SETUP menu, would it work to assign the new "knockoff" sensor or do you really need GM wake up tool?
BTW Delray the $200 I mentioned are Australian, to Australian OP - it's more like $110 in USD in your eyes.
And the new sensors they selling now are shorter and lighter, perhaps not necessitating 35g-50g weights to balance the wheel...
My 2013 doesn't have that feature, 2016 brought a lot of upgrades. Can you get to that screen while rolling? If so, try the cal, or try rolling enough to get the TPS system active, stop, leave the bike running and try the cal then. Probably stuff you've already tried, I just like to know how many ways there are to "trick" the system. Please post back to tell us how you finally got it to work.In the menu that shows RDS ON / OFF, press and hold the Menu button.
