Side Case Lock

so does the right side case/storage compartment come with a pre-installed lock(usa model) OR is the compartment able to be opened at any time and stuff stolen??? thanks

The side bags do not lock. I cover mine up with my jacket or more rarely carry it by the handle if I’m parked in sketchy places. You could use a simple luggage alarm lock with it if you were paranoid, but better to just not leave your valuables.

It can only be opened when you turn on the bike. If the bike is turned off, you cannot open it, the same goes for the phone compartment.
