My wife got me that new cube-shaped Polaroid action video cam. Small and easier to mount than a GoPro (and a lot less expensive, too). Just gotta find some "logical" places to mount it on the C650GT now (or maybe I'll just velcro it to the helmet).

I bought myself the garmin virb elite. I have started to create a mount that will come off my master Cylinder. Once again much less costly than a gopro at $260.

Got a hi-viz Shoei Qwest Avant helmet. A huge step up in comfort and noise reduction from my HJC full face. And Santa helped me to successfully install the Hella dual horns, which sound great.BMW Scooter Horns - webBikeWorld (and he also brought me two beautiful spring-like days to be able to ride to try the new toys out.)

Yep! Out of the UK I got a "Whisper Kit" for my SHOEI Qwest. Amazing accessory that is NOT sold in the US...go figure. It blocks TONS of noise and really warms things up in the cold. Just rode up to the top of Mt. Laguna in sub-freezing weather...toasty head! (Frozen hands...)

Here it is:

Installed:

...and WHERE to get it:
Shoei Whisper Strip - Raid / XR-1000 / XR-1100 - SPORTSBIKESHOP

(This Website doesn't list the Qwest, but the installation directions in the PACKAGE did...weird!)

I got a book on driving sidecars rigs.

Have you? There was one buzzing around my little town a few weeks ago. By the time I could turn around to follow, it was gone. I imagine it is like driving a tri? Like a lot of BMW dealers, my local one is also a Ural dealer. I'll have to visit him today to see what he has in stock......(Atta boy, Steve, way to disguise an excuse to spend some time at a bike dealer).
