Okay, there's no point in my keeping these in my garage indefinitely, so to cut through any nonsense or dickering, I'm now putting my Wunderlich handguards up for sale at what I think is a good price.
1) I bought these Wunderlich handguards for my C 400 GT back in October:
As you can see they go for $190 plus shipping, and as I look at them today they are on sale for $171 plus shipping. I paid the former price, and will sell them for $95 plus shipping.
2) Here are screen grabs of my order:
3) I had these on one day, and decided that I didn't like them. You can read my evaluation here:
4) And you can read my suggestions for mounting them (or other handguards) better than I did here:
Wunderlich's four-page mounting instructions can be downloaded here (PDF):
5) Here's a pic of the handguards hanging around in my garage, in the box that Wunderlich shipped them in, to hopefully convince anyone that I actually have them:
6) Here's my personal C 400 GT gallery, to hopefully convince anyone that I really have a C 400 GT, that I'm a real person, not a scammer, etc.:
Additionally, some folks on the forum have actually met me, and presumably can vouch for my trustworthiness.
7) The sale would go like this: you trust me enough to pay me $95 via PayPal -- PM me, and I'll give you my PayPal email, and NOT Friends & Family, i.e., you'll have to absorb a couple of percent -- and then I'll ship them out, and then I trust you enough to send me another payment when you receive them, i.e., the amount that I actually spent on shipping them to you.
I hope all this is clear enough, but if it isn't just ask me for clarification.

Review of Wunderlich Handguards for C 400 GT: MEH.
Okay, I did about 150 miles with the handguards yesterday (see https://www.bmw-scooters.com/threads/2-x-c-400-gt-lunch-in-lee-ma.3303/), in temps from about 62°F to 75°F, mostly riding around 50-60mph, but with a max speed for the day at 82.5mph.
Executive Summary: these may be more beneficial to, more appreciated by, some riders, but I will be taking them off, i.e., going back to a stock condition on my C 400 GT.
Pros:
==> They really do deflect the wind...
Would love a ride report from you in due course.

HOPEFULLY HELPFUL TIPS FOR INSTALLING WUNDERLICH (AND MAYBE OTHER BRANDS) HANDGUARDS
I removed my recently added Wunderlich handguards today. That's my preference (see my post 16 in https://www.bmw-scooters.com/threads/first-modifications.3291/ if you're curious), and not relevant to this post. My point here, instead, is that I took some pics this morning, while putting things back to stock, that I hope folks installing handguards may find useful. These pertain to the Wunderlich guards, but may also be relevant to other brands.
