Muffleritis !

I had a chance to look at, hold an Akrapovic slip on at a BMW dealer. You could look straight thru. Anyone taken off the stock muffler to see if there is baffling or blockages. Really would like a different more noticeable sound but will not pay Akra's price. I'd consider punching out mine but don't know the consequences with a change in AFR

On my 1600 we punched out upper and lower much better sound
I also have been looking for a economical why of improving sound of scooter, hope somebody has some ideas

What about EFR? No worry's about running too lean? Might have to go to Fuel Moto and get a Power Vision?

I have the Akrapovic exhaust it sure made a big difference to the sound but also performance especially with the DB killer out, even had people commenting on how deep the sound is. You can find the Akrapovic much less on ebay than from BMW.
Never been able to look straight through mine as they've also got angles to them (well for the c600 don't know about the GT's version).
