Bug in the forum software?

I received a "Friend Request" but when I attempt to accept it, nothing happens. The little "Notifications" drop down at the top of the screen also never changes. I've accepted friends before, so I don't know what is happening now. Using the latest version of Chrome on Windows7, but the same thing happens on the latest version of Firefox on Windows7, and both browsers under Ubuntu Linux.

Very strange... it seemed to work using Seamonkey in Linux. Oh well...

Hey, am I the only person that does not have Avatars showing? I get this sort of gibberish over the names and first lines of posts. Using latest Chrome. I'd post a screen shot but I can not figure out how to post jpegs. Not the most intuitive forum software, I think.
