C650 Sport owners. Does your seat rub against the grab rail when trying to lower it?

Or raise it? Mine has been crooked since day one. The seat rubs against the grab rail and I have to push one side of the seat to prevent it from rubbing every time. This has caused the seat the have a hole where it keeps touching and my stupid self forgot to mention it when I got my first service.

Loosen the mounting bolts slightly and move the seat away from the touch area, then tighten the bolts.

Best bet would be to loosen the bolts and then tighten the front two nuts starting with the one on the side the seat rubs on. There's not much play in the hinge set up, perhaps the hinge is bent?

Mine doesn't. I replaced it last year due to the cover seams splitting from sun exposure with a good used one, and the old one didn't rub either.
