If here is the right place someone please start one.

If not tell me where to go.

I’ve just ordered one in dark grey. Due in in the UK in the summer.

I was informed by the dealer that my CE-04 was in production last week and should be shipped out soon. Expected delivery is likely sometime in June.

Ordered Magellan Gray with Options 235/577/4U2/519/530/5AB/603/636/732

My dealer could be more forthcoming in the light of the £14k I’m paying for mine. Not a peep since I poneyed up for the deposit

I'm very interested in the CE04 and add my vote for its own forum, thread, whatever it's called. My local BMW Motorrad dealer is actually going to carry them. They wouldn't touch the C-Evolution because of the heavy cost of service equipment.

Also, anything to make this overall forum more lively would be welcome, up to and including a Biblical reading of who begat who.

"(I bought) Every single thing on the list plus top box plus the jacket woohoo"

From my initial look at the CE04, the base model is not cheap (BMW, no surprise). It looks like a strategy to keep the base model simple to keep the price relatively low, while offering a ton of add-ons that could add up to a staggering out-the-door price. Features that are standard on the GT are now optional (read: pay more) on the CE04.

Does it plug into a household socket?
Always the way with BMW.

Yes.

When I ordered in mid April, my dealer told me that I was his second sale that week (on a Tuesday).

My mate reports yesterday that the dealership has sold one only. Must be me because they’ve taken my deposit.

I’m not sure where the truth lies. If they have only sold one, I’ll likely face service problems because they can’t keep an engineer on the payroll for my once a year visit.

I do 1,000 miles a year on my existing C650GT, and I’m expecting to ride fewer on the CE04. Gonna keep it as a classic low mileage model.
