Where are you guys ordering it from?

I take it they need to be programmed at the dealer?

I called Max BMW and they quoted me $125 and about two weeks to get additional key made. I’m waiting to do my timing chain tensioner retrofit done there with new key made at the same time.

how much are they charging you to do the retrofit?

GOOD LUCK on the chain tensioner they will probably put back in ur bike. I had that
same issue n BMW INC. did NOT put the hydraulic tensioner in

I made sure that it’s a retrofit otherwise I can swap mechanic tensioner myself without need for dealer involvement

When I misplaced one of the keys to my first 650Gt I had to provide the dealership with a copy of my title for them to fax to Germany to get a key from there.

It works the same way here that’s why they told me two weeks for new key.
