Finally finished the service and mods as follows;
K&N air filter
Brisk Spark Plugs
Akrapovic Muffler
Dr Pulley Sliders
GIBII belt
Radiator Guard
Hand Guards
Chrome handlebar weights
Throttle Cruise Control
Chain/Gearbox/Engine oils + filter (fuel filter check ok)
Brake fluid flush.
Decal Kit
Seat Strut
Result: I feel like there is a mild increase in power from start but mostly the smoothness on all acceleration. The power feels like it's been spread out over a wider rev range. I'm generally happy with the job however it took a couple of days, so I can understand why servicing at a dealer is so expensive. Note: I bought this scooter from a BMW dealer who claimed the 30k service had been completed. The service book confirmed this with the dealer stamp. However I found the brake fluid wasn't changed correctly and it was full of air, making the brakes very spongy and the ABS/TRACs not operating correctly. The rear chain oil was very dirty and looked like it had never been touched. Likewise the spark plugs were well worn. The CVT rollers were filthy and had mild flat spots and the belt was reasonable although it had minor cracking and was obviously worn as it screamed on hard acceleration. Needed replacement. The radiator lower support had broken off from where it is riveted to the bracket. The fitment of a guard fixed this problem. There were several screws missing from covers and fairing. The decal kit is from AliExpress and although it looks good I'm not 100% on how long it will last as the adhesive is mild. Happy to answer questions.IMG_5979.webpIMG_5980.webp

Thanks for the information, nice going and good for you to do this all yourself.

But what a negative experience when it comes to the dealer: " Note: I bought this scooter from a BMW dealer who claimed the 30k service had been completed. The service book confirmed this with the dealer stamp" and yet you found conclusively that many/most of the labor intensive things simply had not been done. Serious misrepresentation at least!

My 2017 C650GT is coming up for 20,000k service soon so interested in what weight Dr Pulley sliders you used. Also, what handguards did you fit?

Thanks
BF
