I had a minor incident with my C400GT a couple weeks back which resulted in me having to 'lay' the bike on the ground. This resulted in some minor damage to Lateral trim panel front left Part # 46638394631. At one point in time you could order the replacement panels painted but this is no longer the fact. I have contacted my dealership for the paint code but they were not able to tell me a compelling story. In fact, I also contacted a dealership for the paint codes.....very different codes for the same color name.

Local Canadian dealership provided me with WN2G while the Seattle dealership provided M3E..............hmmm?

The steps to remove the damage panel is somewhat involve so I decided to remove the Its difficult removing the Lateral trim panel, right Part #: 46638394620. I was hoping the paint code was printed on the label affixed to the back. Worst case scenario, I would just take the panel into a local automotive paint shop to have them mix me a rattle can of matched paint.

Looking at the attached photo, does anyone recognize the BMW Motorrad paint code in the number sequences?

192113 --> ??
M976 --> ??
8404831-02 --> ?? <-- I thought it would be the part # of the panel but its not
K08 --> model of the bike
Dark Ano Grey --> paint color name
11.10.18 A --> manufacturing date

Any ideas of paint code?

Best I have.

Thank you for the suggestions…..

Just realize your link to Scratches Happen is the paint code from my panel.

I will place my order.

Thank you thank you!

Pleasure. I've used dr. colorchip on my daughters Subaru and touch up direct on my other daughter's Hyundai. Both delivered great results (my standards are high...results were way beyond "acceptable", nearly perfect). I couldn't seem to find the code at either site. If you have better luck finding the color, I can recommend either company.

I have used the paint from Scratches Happen on 3 different cars. One spray the other 2 were brush touch ups but they all matched perfectly as well as I could tell. They will supply a white card to put a dab of paint on to match to the bike when it drys. So you can test it first.
