Shad 47 Install with Brake Light

Greetings all. I installed a shad SH47 on my CE04, and I purchased a brake light kit to go with it. Being that this bike is so electronics sensitive, anyone know of or have knowledge of whether or not a can splice into the rear brake light on the Scooter?

I remember reading from SHAD that no splicing will be needed. All connections. Doors Shad no provide instructions?

So I had a chat with SHAD and they just told me that they can't provide connectors for all motorcycles, the CE 04 will need to be splice to make it work :sad

This light will have to be spliced. On top of that, because of the design of the CE04, I’ll have to route the wires back to mid frame where the swing arm pivots and back via the same route the factory cables use. Basically , im going to have to extend the supplied harness.

Thank you for sharing… As I said before, I spoke with ShadUSA and they told me the same thing.

Good luck and if you decide to proceed it would be nice to see how you end up doing it.

I love it, and yes I would buy again. The backrest pad took a while to get in, but other than that, it’s been a great addition to the scooter.
I have not added the brake light yet. I’ll get to it eventually.
