So when my phone is plugged in the usb port in the cubby and I get a call or I am listening to satellite radio, am i able to hear the call/sound in my b/t earbuds or does the sound only come from the connect bike speaker? Thanks

Also when using navigation same question?

I can give my experience. If I have my phone connect to the bike, then my phone ALWAYS wants to use the bike as the audio output. I have to very specifically tell my phone to use something else, like a Cardo, to not have it go through the bike. This is every single time the bike ignition turns on and the phone connects to it.

Edit: I re-read your question. I am talking about Bluetooth connection. I actually don't know if the USB port gives a data connection or not. Sorry!

I currently have my phone and my helmet synced to the bike. I can hear music and nav through the helmet speakers, and adjust volume with wonder wheel. I did get a call the other day and was abto answer it through the bike connection.
Fixing to add Carpuride so that will be different. I may play with the connection to see if I can still do volume with the wheel.

You're doing this on a C400GT?

When I do this the volume is super quiet and I seem to have no volume controls. How exactly are you controlling the volume if you don't mind? This is typically why I have to use the Cardo directly from the phone, too quiet through the bike passthrough.

I am not an expert on this but I think the question is not clear, or more likely I do not understand. If your phone is only being charged in the glove box, then there is no relationship with the bike and you can use any Bluetooth devices you want. But if you go through the process of connecting to your bike for navigation using Make Life a Ride app, I think you have limited what else that phone can do, and (I am guessing) any phone call will derail the navigation until you are done, which I guess would include listening to music while it is connected to your Bike's Navigation. I am hoping someone steps in with more assistance. I have a dedicated phone for the bike that is always on for $25 a month and that has been working well.

Yes it’s on a 2024 C400GT. Maybe you need to have the volume up high on the phone first.

When everything is connected through the bike, you can turn the wonder wheel to go to navigation, media, and phone screens.

Correct, I can navigate to everything, do phone calls etc, but nowhere is the option to change the volume, at least that I can find. The only places I can change volume is full blast on phone, and full on my cardo headset, then it's ALMOST usable.

Interesting. Thank you for the response. The wheel does nothing for volume for me, in nav, phone or music. How very odd.
Didn't mean to derail this thread, thanks!

Bummer. I’ll see if I can figure out how I did it. I’m fixing to put a Carpuride on and then it won’t work. However I’m going to try to run phone to Carpuride, then connect it to the scooter then to my helmet and see if the wheel will still work. I’ll get everyone posted.

I went out and looked and this is what the display shows. Don’t know if it helps. I did notice it takes a little bit for everything connects.
