BMW C400 GT (2020) Roller Weights

Can anyone tell me the stock weights in a BMW C400 GT made in 2020? I have been reasearching the Webs and am finding conflicting information. Short of opening it up and measuring and wieghing them, would be great to know the sizes. Just want to get a set before I open it up as a spare/replacement if required . Many thanks, cheers Oigy

Disclaimer: I have no personal experience with the rollers, never taken the CVT apart, don't intend to, etc.

However: If I were a betting man, I'd bet on 18 grams.

Here's why:

1) I went to the parts fiche page of Max BMW. (I imagine other Beemer sites have this same info, but I'm used to searching for items on the Max site. That's a four-location BMW dealership, and one of those places is near me, and where I bought my C 400 GT and where I get it serviced.)

Both the up-to-2020 and the after-2020 pages for the C 400 GT show the same part number for the rollers: 24 81 8 405 745





2) Doing a search for that part number reveals a lot of page titles that also include this 18-gram information:



Hence, my conclusion that they're 18 grams.

Thank you for that information, very helpful. I did see the parts diagram on line in a couple of spots, but nowhere did it mention the weights of the rollers. I am in Australia and we have the Euro Variant, but I am sure the rollers would be the same. I can source some malossi ones or other brands as well, but need the dimentions for them and no one seems to know, google has a couple of different options so I was just wondering just what size they really were.
