Hello all in the U.S I got a HUGE BOLT in the rear tire yesterday. Noticed it on my way home.
i have the 2016 BMW C 650 GT i did check Amazon but they don't have the rear tire 160/60R15. Even eBay
did not carry it. I did call 2 BMW dealers n they DO NOT have any tires for my bike what's up with that?
I did a search on here n could NOT find any help.
When i noticed the flat i put my flashers ON n rode about 15 MPH yeah i know that's DAMGEROUS but i did NOT want to call a wrecker flatbed. PLEASE post some links for the rear tire. Ya know i have Prime
n they have my vehicle but NO tires that's weird being stranded is NO fun Oh n Amazons site said it would
be the 27th before i get one HUH??

Any of these work for you?

If you have a nearby Cycle Gear:

If not:

I got Michelins for my C650 a few months ago at Cycle Gear, was no problem finding the correct size at all. GREAT tires!

But, if your old tire still has good tread left, I would just plug it (may require two or three plugs if the hole is that big).

I just looked at J& P cycles n i do believe i found a tire it's a Shrinko tire. here is
the no. for it 567/568 scooter rear tire. item no. 421979 then i select size 160/60-15
67H $88.96. WILL this FIT?? looks like it. I had Shrinko tire on the BEEMER it did
last n felt pretty good on turns n wet rds.
I do NOT want to pay $200 or more for a tire OUCH

Cycle gear has a Shrinko same size n is located here in Houston. There is
another Michelin 2 but they do NOT have REAR size 160/60 R15 H67. I will
order it THANK YOU ALL.

I have finally got to use Michelin's Power Shift and here is what I've got to say.
My previous set was Power Road 4 (rear and front). Rear was worn much faster because I am a demon off the lights.
So when I put Shift on the rear with still fresh Road 4 in the front, it was not optimal, some heebie jeebies in the turns at low throttle.
Now that the front has finally been worn down and replaced by the matching Shift tire, all I can say is wow, it feels like it leans itself, now I seem to be having more ease in the lean than straight up.
Seems like with Shift, both tires need to be Shift.
I have looked at the tire patterns inquisitively and can see that they are reversed by design, the rear "splits" water with V pattern as it rotates, and the front "joins" water with ^ pattern.
Perhaps that's why.

"it feels like it leans itself, now I seem to be having more ease in the lean than straight up"
That was my eye-opening experience on my C650. I owned it since 2018 (Metzeler then Shinko) but it wasn't until I put on the Michelins that I felt confident leaning more and going faster in the corners, it has transformed my riding experience.
