CE-02 Remote battery change every two month!

Hi all.

My CE-02 complains all the time about the remote battery. Even with a new one, it only last about a month before i get the warning again. If i don't change it, it ends up not starting at all and i have to place the remote below the front part of the seat to get the key recognised.

I asked a CE-04 owner who says he did not change the battery since he bought his bike. My Mini remote also lasts years...

Anyone with this issue?

The dealer switched the battery in the fob when I purchased the bike in the first week of April 2026. No battery issues yet.
For my CE-02 fob I have found that the signal to the bike drops connection when I leave the bike for five minutes or more, with the fob within radio range. Placing the fob below the front part of the seat reestablishes connection and I continue.
