First week initial impressions

Loving this thread, i was getting pretty low about the scoot after all the horror stories but this has made it better. My 600 still hasnt missed a beat and still loving it.

Forums can do that to you it's like the 6 o'clock news, you are getting a condensed version of the worlds happenings and it can make you cynical.
The issues with any modern car or bike are minimal and often few in numbers and people usually only take to the web when they have a bad experience.
You can find the same pattern on Honda, Suzuki and Yamaha forums and it makes it look like the sky is falling, just enjoy the bike it really is a great machine and if it does go wrong it has one of the best warranties out there. :D

As I've posted earlier (maybe several times) the complaints on this forum do not represent an adequate sample from which to draw any reliable conclusions. BMW is not in the business to lose money and they have a lot of money invested in the success of this product.
