Communication/ Blue Tooth qeustions

I switched to bluetooth after my passenger started clawing and slapping the helmet (i ride the sport a little aggressive). I still have her around (for other time when I want rolleyes:)
Now I have the SENA SMH10R on my Shark evoline. great for the phone/pandora mix. I have taken calls a few times and they heard me clearly, with the helmet in full face mode. in openface mode they heard a little more noise but not much.
 
The day I bought my scooter 27 months ago I went out and bought my scala rider team set this gave me the option if I have a passenger I can talk to them or if I ride alone I have a spare bluetooth unit programmed to my phone so that if my battery dies all I have to is switch the unit in seconds. My clients and friends also think I am on the couch at home until I tell them I am out for a ride. The $200 was also a business write off.

What helmet?
 
I've been researching comms products for the past couple of weeks and am leaning toward the UClear HBC100Plus. I like the concept of the integrated mics in the speakers (no boom mikes). I'd use it primarily for music, phone and small group riding comms. I'm reading consistently good reviews about it from many sources. Does anyone have this unit? What's your experience with it? Thanks.
 
I've installed headsets in several helmets, it's not difficult. My older Sena headset still works great in both my 3/4 and modular helmets. The CB could be better but that's the CB, the phone, GPS and music from my iPhone works very well. These Bluetooth units are becoming less expensive and better working all the time. I recently ordered an automotive Bluetooth unit to use in my Jeep. It cost me $12 plus $3 for shipping from China. The thing works great it has a combination magnet and clip mount which is ideal for the Jeep with its exposed metal inside. I was worried that it wouldn't be loud enough in my noisy TJ but it's plenty loud at highway speed even with oversize mud tires on. Simple to set up and use too.
 
Sena also has a Bluetooth Audio Pack for GoPro that allows the user to narrate video from your helmet. Very cool. I don't think you can go wrong either way but I know which I've been happy with, and they are an American company with their corporate offices just down the street from me in San Jose, which also speaks to why everyone round the silicon valley uses them.

Any updates? Now that my wife is willing to go I have really started to consider one. Probably a SENA the 5 or 10: not sure if the 10 is worth the extra $.
