New member welcome thread..

I just made my purchase of a Bronze C650GT today. It will be delivered tomorrow.
I was a Piaggio MP3-500 owner for about 5 years. I loved it, but decided it was time to switch.
I am in San Diego, Ca

Thanks,

Christian here from San Jose California with a C600 in blue. I've been a traditional scooterist since 1990 starting with my first pair of scoots...Honda Elite 150 and a Vespa 150 Sprint V. I also have a Lambretta project that's meant to be my hooligan machine if I can get all the machining done on the motor at some point.

Howdy all. Traded in my 2009 Yamaha TMAX this past Saturday and picked up my brand new 2013 BMW C650GT. After doing a demo ride at this year's Americade, I was hooked! Hope to lurk here (at first) to absorb as much as I can, and later become a more active participant.

Hello All

C650GT vermillion red -bought the dealers first scooter that came to their showroom in Charlotte, NC. Currently have about 300 miles and loving it.

Hey from south Alabama. Sold my 2006 Vespa GTS 250 and picked up my new C600 Sport this past Saturday in Pensacola, Florida. Loving it! Living the dream right now...

Hey there
New member to the site, new owner of C650 since March 2013. Live just up the Fraser Valley from Dennis (Chilliwack BC), also retired teacher and Prof. Been on two wheels for about 50 some odd years, first scooter, total hoot! Love it! Adding up the miles now that the weather is cooperative. Used to ride virtually every day (used the bikes for commuting), now, I kind of pick and choose the weather. Hope to see you guys on the road! Great help this site!

Hi, I am John from Georgia. Purchased a GT 2 weeks ago. Wife rides a Kymco downtown 300. Enjoying getting out on the road. Looking for rides to join in on.

I have owned my 650gt for 4 days. It is hard to describe how the freedom of the machine makes a lot of day to day junk go away. I am not young (62) but not old.....shut up you young punks ;-)....this is a great avocation. The people already participating are super, especially my new much younger friends.

Connect with your kids or grand kids. Hell, connect with the world. This is one great way to go. No baloney.

And, for what it's worth, the BMW product is top notch. I do research for a living and am one cheap SOB, but this machine will make you smile and say ...."Thanks".

I'm sure BMW performed scientific research on this. Regardless, it's a known fact that blue is faster...

As I reported on another thread I had heard from someone who heard it from someone else who read it on the Internet that black is the fastest. Based upon my own bias and speculation I have to concur with this conclusion - though I have also have to admit that red handles the best.

I just couldn't resist "moving up" to a BMW scooter. I have ridden motorcycles all my adult life and tried a scooter because the wife wanted to start to tag along and couldn't take the harsh little seats and unannounced shifting. Started with a used 2009 Honda Silverwing and ended up leaving my Suzuki SV650 in the garage most of the time.
1 year later I sold my SV to my son and traded my Silverwing in on a '13 C600 sport. I've had it for 2 days and I'm loving it. Came with the color matched trunk.

It's riding time in Arizona for sure now!

Just got my C600 Sport in Blue which I can also attest is the fastest color. Looking forward to enjoying many miles on this scoot around Chicago. The C600 is pretty much everything I was looking for in a scooter. It is a great compliment to my Vespa GTS 300.
