Akrapovic - again!

I know there is lots on Akrapovic but I don't see anything on a specific question I have. In terms of the pitch (if that's the right word) does the exhaust pitch go up, down or stay about the same? And for volume of sound or decibels, does it go up, down or stay about the same? I did have someone who has a Suzuki bike say it got a bit deeper (throaty) and just a bit louder - is that the same on BMW scoot?

So by that I assume the decibels goes up considerably? While not a big deal I think the C600 is louder than other maxi scoots I have ridden.

if you are talking about just the silencer then it just sounds a little deeper but not any louder. if a full system then yes it will be both louder and throatier. i have just the silencer and it looks so much nicer, lighter and seems a little more lively. i am hoping this year to cut up a standard manifold to de-cat it and see what it goes like then.

I'm not sure about choosing Akrapovic/Termignioni/MIVV. I love the looking of the Akrapovic but the sound of Termignioni is great. And the MIVV sounds like a good option. What do you think?
