I’ve had my 2013 C650GT for 3 months and I have the timing chain tensioner tick just starting. It’s got 3800 miles on it. Are BMW motorcycle shops still doing the warranty replacement on these? I’m about 1.5 hours away from a dealer. I do have local bike shops, but I haven’t dug in with this...

Thanks Freewheel, I sent the laminar lip back. It just wasn’t the right solution for me. I’m back to the straight up stock windscreen. We’ll see what the future holds, but I appreciate the input.

Hello MMR I did end up ordering the laminar lip for the 650gt. Any tips regarding the install would be appreciated. It looks pretty straight forward, but it always pays to ask someone who has experience. Thanks in advance

I tried the extension from Pappy and it does work. I’m not sure if this will be the final solution, but it does cut down buffeting at my sunglasses. One of these taller aftermarket windscreens will probably be in my future. Right now I’m just riding and smiling.

Hello Pappy, Thank you for the input and offering your deflector to me. That’s really nice! I guess I should try it. I’m over 6ft so It may be a different situation with the field of view. Has anyone tried one of these add on windscreen spoilers to the top of the stock windscreen? I just bought a 2013 650GT and the stock windscreen is a couple inches short at the highest spot.
