    Best Winter storage options

Looks like this old wimp is done riding for the year. I have two options for storing over the Winter. I have a fairly new 6 x 12 enclosed trailer, or a car port. Wife's C650GT is highest value bike. I also have to store my old F650GS similarly. Will I have moisture problems if I use the...

No 650 Sport listed on BMW's USA website.

I see it- I think BMW has some (almost) duplicate web pages.

    Hang on!

Still want to ride Yes, I had thought about a top case anyway, we do small grocery store runs with it. Wish I could find one that would match the brown. -d

    Hang on!

Still want to ride I asked dear wife to snap a few shots while we cruised the driveway. You can see how well she fits. That is one happy kid. We skipped the motorcycle jacket and gloves, but long pants and lace up shoes/ socks are always present.

    Hang on!

Still want to ride That must might work, thanks. She is pushing me hard, since school has ended, to go for scooter rides. Understand, she has few really fun things in her life. A scooter ride with daddy is way up on the scale! And a scooter is way smoother, then a regular bike- my GS is...

    Hang on!

My daughter loves to ride on the C650, she will do damn near anything for a scooter ride! Trouble is, she won't hang on. She is "special needs", the old word is - retarded. About as smart as your average 4 year old. But she is a big girl, over 200#, 17 y.o.. If I stop, read her the riot...

how to tighten preload on rear spring

When all else fails, read the manual. Thanks, yes, I have the tool, had it the whole time. I'm so embarrassed. (not really- I have lots of ways I've screwed up over the years!) -Dan

how to tighten preload on rear spring

I see where my rear spring has a rotating collar with progressively tighter stops. It is on 1 now, we bottom occasionally at bumps (I know, I know, we are overloading it). Putting more tension on the spring will increase resistance to bottoming, correct? What sort of wrench would grab...

    Need a chock!

Thanks, looks like anything with a tilting deal will miss the brakes. I am not in a hurry now, management has decided she does not want her scooter at Utah. So I may just buy a Condor when I am there. -Dan

    Need a chock!

I've looked through the forum here, maybe it has been answered before- but what wheel chock will work with my C650GT? We want to put it in the trailer to take to Utah next month, I need to contain it! TIA-

    Bug in the forum software?

Hey, am I the only person that does not have Avatars showing? I get this sort of gibberish over the names and first lines of posts. Using latest Chrome. I'd post a screen shot but I can not figure out how to post jpegs. Not the most intuitive forum software, I think.

Newbie can't drive on the lawn

This is happening at a fairly low RPM. It will happen even when I try to take off slow.
