Agree with TwoPort. A harness directly connected to the battery is the best way to go. Only be aware that if you disconnect the battery you will need to go to the service center to recalibrate the windshield.

Thanks - I'm assuming that these measurements are for the 600.
I'll have to take the 650's front end apart to see if the clearance is the same.
The problem will be finding the time to do it.
Here is link to a discussion with the manufacturer about these LEDs. They clearly state that these are for off-road use and are not DOT certified.
