That's it exactly. You need to apply the brake and then it will just fit on the lever and hold the brake on

My brother gave me a plastic doohickey that lives on the left grip. To use it I swivel it round and latch it to the lever. Very simple and works well.

I am going to use my heated jacket in winter. Does anyone know the power output of the alternator. My old Versys 300X struggled if the heated grips and heated jacket were in use at the same time.

My rear preload is set to 5. Really comfy one up with a full top box. Bit clunky when the box is not on but I live with it as the adjuster is an sob to use. I weigh 14st, 7lbs fully rugged up.

Generally how often do folk need to check the oil on C400s. I am used to Hondas which basically do not use much oil if any between service intervals.

Mine just touch the screen on full lock but literally a hairs breadth. Might adjust them a little at some point if the MOT tester does not like it.

Yep, you gave me the clue. In android the control is specific to the link to the bike though. So not obvious until you look for it.
