Has anyone used Amsoil 100% synthetic motor oil?

SKutorr, you brought up a good point about leaks that I have known for a long time and have discussed with master BMW motorcycle mechanics concerning synthetic oils: They can "Cause" leaks almost immediately in areas that have never leaked and especially on older bikes/ scoots. Apparently, DINO...

I found a pedestal for my baby

That looks very nice! Lifts are worth their weight in GOLD for doing any kind of work on a scoot or motorcycle, even for detailing or just keeping the scoot away from mice:) My Wife bough me a full size, 7ft tall by 20ft long dual runner, hydraulic lift about 5 years ago and every time I use...

Has anyone used Amsoil 100% synthetic motor oil?

The BMW CVT is dry as far as the belt goes as is the clutch, so the engine oil won't affect it at all if there are no leaks. The CVT belts on my past T-max 500 and my current Kymco 500 and Burgman 650 are obviously dry belts. The CLUTCH on the T-max and Burgman are WET, oil bathed "Motorcycle...

    24,000 mile service info

Aren't the stock rollers just ROUND?? How could they be backwards--sliders maybe but rollers? It seems stupid to me to not replace the CVT belt while your scoot was in there. Sam:)

2013 Kymco Xciting 500RI ABS Fuel injected

Senior owned with 4,900 country road miles on it. It is a Gold/ Orange metallic color. It has a new Pirelli Diablo oversize radial on the rear rim. It was just serviced with Mobil 1 synthetics and is ready to go. The scoot gets between 45 to 55 mpg and is just a little slower than my Past T-max...

    I'm convinced! My new C600

I have yet to ride a BMW scooter but currently have a 2005 Burgman 650 and a 2013 Kymco Xciting 500RI ABS and lots of other maxi and mini(?) scooters in my scooter history but none of them had any significant engine noise so my question is this: Is it something you grow used to or do you use ear...

    C600/ 650 rear wheel removal.

I'm new here so if this post should be in a different place then feel free to move it;) I tried the search bar to research the topic to no avail. My question is: Is removing the rear wheel on the BMW scooter's as easy as it looks??? Removing rear wheels on most all other scooters is a real...

    Hello from SW Missouri.

Thanks Folks for the welcomes! James, PM me and we'll exchange info regarding your Dad and I. I was raised in Webb City and I am over there all the time, maybe he and I can have coffee there and talk scoots! I don't know about the "Wobbly" 650 Burgman as I am on my third one and never...

    Hello from SW Missouri.

Hi, my name is Sam and I am hopelessly addicted to scooters and motorcycles. I've been riding since 1962 and have had a total of 77 motorcycles/ scooters to date. My current scooters are: a 2013 Kymco Xciting 500RI ABS and a 2005 Suzuki Burgman 650. I just sold my 2012 Goldwing a few weeks ago...
