    Added under seat power plug

Nice thread, thanks to all. Shrink tubing makes a nice, tight, strong connection and relieves the strain on the twisted portion. I think I will add a couple of different connectors, thanks for posting.

PowerCommnader V, auto tune and Malossi Multivar MHR 2000 variator

Thanks, Ron I quickly wrote Mike and he wrote back. I think his response worth showing here. " Generally speaking, the lighter the weights, the more RPMs required to overcome the spring tension in the main spring behind your clutch. The combination of the springs and weights work together to...

2018 C650GT: insert reflectors in license plate holder 'vacuum hole'

No, I think not. There is no indication of wiring, transducer, anything. I think the proximity detectors are built into the mirror stalks.

    C650 Sport

in fact every time I park the bike and put a cover on, I make sure the windshield is retracted all the way, and turn the mirror stalks in There's a clear detent that sets but they turn with little effort. You may want to sluice out the base, make sure there is nothing in there sticking

Riding at slow speeds (in congestion)

Lane splitting / sharing is allowed in most instances in Japan. I do it daily. My GT is a dream in traffic - a bit wider than some bikes but the fold in mirrors are just great. Great visibility, will simply crawl along at a slow walking speed, or sprints into gaps.

Recently purchased white 2016 C650 Sport

Hello thanks for the interesting post But... I'm starting to sense a trend. How many people bought very low mileage C650 BMWs within months of their original purchase? I would bet that many people simply bought what they thought they wanted.... ... then sold them withing a year or so

load lash point mods - on Facebook group

I did this on a C650GT but it should apply to all models with similar grab rails. How I modified the seat and grab rail to make it easier to tie down packages. NOTE: do at your own risk Don't even try if you don't know knots well...

    14" Gt 650

there are a couple of countershafts, long high-velocity chains, two overhead cams, two counterbalance shafts, a dynamic balancer, oil pump, a (disengaged) clutch with multiple springs and rollers, a driven side variator, a (undriven) drive belt, all in motion at idle and stretched out front to...

Naked bars - what's under all that plastic anyhow???

Hello. I'm trying to picture what is under the mass of plastic covering the handlebars of my C650GT. I think the underside is fairly clean and neat, and would like to install a simple crossbar for phone etc mounts, but don't want to have to fool with rerouting cables, hoses to make room /...

    Exhaust Mod?

Thanks, Skutorr for the exhaust / emulator notes. On this comment, "Remember, this is all AFTER you make the insanely cheap and effective upgrades to the variator system: Dr. Pulley Sliders and Sliding Pieces, and either a White or Yellow Malossi counter-spring, to increase the "downshift"...

2018 C650GT: insert reflectors in license plate holder 'vacuum hole'

Good question but pretty sure not. The hole bottom is flat, there are no transducers apparent in it, front or back of the bottom. I think those sensors are in the mirror stalks. Mine are pretty worthless anyhow, lots of false indications. The hole is just over 50mm diameter.
