After an Instrument Cluster update, my screen no longer worked. Tech had to plug in again, and set the upper and lower limits. I suspect your screen forgot where it is. The only way that I know to fix is to back to the dealer. My BMW manual doesn't give any other option.

BTW, flushed the brake system last week as the bike is 2 years old. Used a Mity Vac and pulled fresh fluid through. No problems and no issues with ABS.

FWIW, I have always found the scooter starts faster with the throttle cracked a bit. I've just gotten into the habit of twisting the throttle each time, hot or cold...

We have "chip seal" roads here in S Texas. Basically, jagged gravel glued down with tar. Got 4200 from the front, 4800 from the rear... Currently at 9300 and ready to do it again!

This brings up a thought. I've always fueled on the side stand. I'll try filling up on the center stand. Anyone else?

On the secondary issue, you fill up, and the gauge never changes. You'll have a low fuel light inside of 100 miles.

Has anyone ever gotten a legitimate answer from BMW about our fuel gauge issues? Since new, after fill up, if you don't wait 20 seconds between turning on the key and starting the bike, the fuel gauge never updates. The other issue is, regardless of how long you wait, if the fuel gauge is 3/4 or...

I have open recalls that need to be completed. My dealer is 60 miles away. How long did it take the shop to replace the cam chain tensioner? It would nice if I could just wait for it. The side stand switch and MF switch should be easy. Thanks. Marty in Kerrville
