    Windscreens for C650 Sport?

I am back to the sexy malossi short, while waiting for puig tour to arrive from america. started to get thumbs up from strangers and passers by again…not much difference with noise but a tad more turbulence and consumption at speed

    Undecided C400GT vs. C650GT

C650 is the better one, unless you're squeezing through the city jams all the time, like in Asia. If funds and your physique allow, go for it; parts are available

Anyone Thinking of a CE 02

Almost nothing is coming to Australia. Neither is Honda X-ADV…nor NM-4 The crocodile industry (real estate) ate the rest of the animals… no variety anymore

    Windscreens for C650 Sport?

Yeah, sometimes results differ from expectations. For example, after several years of playing with various windscreens on my previously owned T-Max, I have settled on this one...

    Bose Micro Soundlink on C400GT

Looks super-dorky, I'd probably look at something black to sit on top of the brake oil capsules (two bolts there).

Thought this was interesting. Bragging rights!

Cops in Oz use optical parallax systems, so radar detectors are useless.

    Windscreens for C650 Sport?

There's also these guys TALL TOURING SCREEN BMW C 650 GT WINDSCREEN WINDSHIELD FLIP UP PROFILE TOURER They misquoted me a screen for C650 Sport as 71cm tall, but that was a GT version. Their Sport version is 65cm, too short. I ordered a PUIG 9015W while still available.

    Driveline vibration elimination (hopefully!)

Now that I’ve worn earplugs when riding, I think I felt that same vibration you are trying to get rid of. Normally it is drowned it the exhaust sounds, but my earmuffs kill the noise so I can feel vibrations more. My theory is that could come from the fact that the final chain is constrained by...

What’s wrong with consulting the Rider’s Manual, pp.55-56?

Next try re-balance the rear tyre, and also I assume you have run ASC CAL. in SETUP?

    Question for a 2013 C 650 GT owner

SERVICE is on, too - meaning it has not been done at required time/mileage. Do not buy without riding a test.

    Windscreens for C650 Sport?

Anybody updated the windscreen on the Sport, and how did it go? I am poised to buy a Puig VTech Tour 9015H but dunno if it is worth it? The best so far is stock in the middle position, but still windy…

    Driveline vibration elimination (hopefully!)

Besides a possible issue with the clutch, there may be something about the output shaft and its bearing.

Does the torque (power) float at all?

Welcome, Leslie! GT has less storage than C650 Sport (!) and no FlexCase. I see many are putting up centre boxes on. On my Sport, I have toured Australia without any boxes, up to three weeks with just a soft bag and soft 5L pertol flex can on passenger seat strapped to hand rails. But suspension...

    Driveline vibration elimination (hopefully!)

Another possible reason is clutch, which I think is the worst part of BMW's design, especially coming from the ultimate, sublime multi-plate wet clutch of the T-Max 530. Mine has been well due for spring replacement at 26000 kms. Had those vibes when starting, then 120-130kmh speed range...

    Driveline vibration elimination (hopefully!)

1 and 4 are unlikely to cause vibration, worn drive belt may cause "floating torque" e.g. when you want to overtake on highway you feel a drop in torque and only have to rev even higher, not much happening because the belt is so worn it is smaller in width and softer and heats even more, making...

    Please chime in on chains

At about 50000 Km, I've had the chain replaced with the original, which was 525. 72L spec. Used original BMW oil "HYPOID AXLE OIL G3" which cost $120 AUD for 500 ML :( IDK if that was necessary but that was insurance against the plastic-metal wear, I'm told. Gasket reused, axle seal new...
