my dealer just installs an optimate pigtail to everything they sell in the dealership, directly to the battery. They sell the chargers seperately. I use a bmw charger with a CTEK adapter and charge it if I dont ride for couple days.

Update: Software updated by the dealer, new idle rpm is 1600/1700 ( was 1400/1500) The stutter is gone, rides smooth as it was. No concerns at this time.
