Has anyone put one of these one button parking brakes on their bike?

I have not put heat shrink on yet as I did not have a pice that would fit over the ball at the end of the brake lever. I might have something bigger just have not checked yet. It would go over the brake lever right where the pin holds the lever closed. If I get it done this weekend I'll post a...

Has anyone put one of these one button parking brakes on their bike?

That is a great idea. Awsome!! Thanks for sharing that I have a bunch of that stuff and will do the same. I was trying to figure out how to get some rubber or leather to stick. The heat shink solves that problem.

Has anyone put one of these one button parking brakes on their bike?

I did it slightly different. I sanded the outside of the brass insert to fit the hole. I used 300 grit and smoothed with 600 grit. (It was only slightly too large.) I think you are correct that the longest insert is still to short but so far that has not been an issue for me. I'm going to re...

Has anyone put one of these one button parking brakes on their bike?

I just ordered some foam grips for my C400gt. I had them on my last three bikes and they are my favorite, I found some Grab Ons that are 4.25 inches so I won't have to cut them. Also they work with my heated grips which is nice in Wisconsin...

    C400GT Top Box

@birdcaca These are the exact locations I used however your illistrations are much better than mine. And this is the perfect spot to mount as well. Even with the case open you can still open the seat which I find very helpful at time.

    New owner questions.

I've seen this screen on the Facebook C400gt users group page. It is very difficult to tell what real benifits there are other than an improved screen. I guess the video is called Dynamic Upgrad Stock. Or is that the name of the software? It appears to be a software upgrade to the screen but...

Has anyone put one of these one button parking brakes on their bike?

The person on the facebook c400gt page posted that their unit is working well and they did not have to modify anything. Plug and play so to speak. They said you just have to use the supplied hadware. He did note that every thing was black except the supplied nut which is stainless and kinda...

Has anyone put one of these one button parking brakes on their bike?

Thanks Bill; The one I linked to looks almost exactly like the one you tried that didn't work for you. The one I have is the same one you are using and it works. I would not say that for me it has been a rare ocasion to use it though. It seems like when I am on vacation in the mountains in SD...

CHIGEE AIO-5 Lite - Apple / Android CarPlay

I agree with Bill P. It should not be that difficulult for BMW to have added cruise control and TPMS. I never had either one until my last bike and while I did not use them a lot they were very nice features. Once you have had them you miss them. My challenger also had an electronic wihdshield...

Stolen tft screen and anti theft brace

I agree. I just looked at it tonight and thought, how the hell are they getting these off! It seems like an awfull lot of work to remove the windshield, then the cover bracket, then unplug it, then it looks like there are several more screews to remove inside the head unit. And then what the...

I was just going to put on my new/old mirrors.

The screen has worked out great for me and I would not hesitate to purchase another if this one goes bad or gets to scratched. The hole in it is positioned at the perfect height to keep my Garmin a little cooler when Im riding. (Those Garmins get really hot expecially it the sun is beating on...

I was just going to put on my new/old mirrors.

I just got my scooter back from the dealer first service and was going to change the mirrors to a set I had used on my previous bikes but then thought I might as well finally put on those hand guards I bought but never put on because they hit the windshield. So I called the manufacturer of the...

    Cleaning the CVT

I'm sure your method is best by a long shot. And the more often you do it the better. However on my Vespas I use to just pressure blow my VCT at about 3000 to 3500 miles and then clean it at 7000 to 8000 miles in the winter when I wasn't riding it. ( I average about 7500 miles each summer.) I...

    Cleaning the CVT

I remember my Vespas having this issue and making noise and not working as smoothly. I was able to blow the dirt and dust out with compressed air not the perfect solution but it worked pretty well until the service interval. I don't remember the exact proceedure but I remember doing it and it...

    Idle rpm

Picked up my scooter from the dealer today. The software version is 060. The idle was set to 1400 - 1500 rpms when warmed up. The dealer did not change it. And the Oil level display works. It says OK. So I believe it was shipped with the latest US software. It got up to 59 degrees today so I...

    Idle rpm

I will check the software version when I get the bike back but I purchased my bike on 11/14/2023. It had just arrived at the dealership with 2 other C400gt's and the dealer told me this was the last of the 2023's they would get. I was just looking not interested in purchasing right then but I...
