    2013 C650GT won’t start

I had a similar sounding problem with my scooter last year. Even though my scooter was always kept on a battery tender while not in use, it turned out to be a bad battery. Once it was replaced it worked fine, although a trip to the dealer was required in order to reset the windscreen.

    New owner - few questions

You will need a Shad mounting plate that will accept their top cases. Here’s a link to the Shad website. https://www.shadusa.com/collections/c650-gt-1/products/w0cg62st

    New owner - few questions

For top box options, look at the Shad product line. They are the OEM manufacturer for BMW cases and their prices (at least in the US) are much cheaper than the BMW branded cases. I have one for my 2013 650GT and have been very happy with it.

Gt 650 won't start or turn over

I recently had a similar problem with my 2013 scooter. I always keep it connected to a battery tender when parked, but when I went to start it no luck even though the tender showed solid green lights indicating a full charge. Dash lights came up but starter would not turn over at all. I tested...

    Stop-Sell order issued..

I was told the same by the dealer here in Portland, OR. I had scheduled to take my scooter in for service last week and when I took it in on Saturday was told of the brake line issue. They will not release the scooter to me until the repair is completed, which could be a couple of weeks or...

    6’3”

Sounds like you’re ready to roll, weather permitting. Spring weather has arrived here in Oregon and I’m planning on getting out tomorrow for my first ride of the year. Enjoy your new scooter!!

    6’3”

I’m 6’2” with a 34-inch inseam. I find the scooter to be plenty comfortable, lots of leg room, and would think it should work for you as well. I replaced the stock screen with an Aeroflow screen, which I found to be a big improvement.

Spent an hour digging out the driveway

Pretty cool drone video of your snowstorm. https://youtu.be/JGbk98nNuAE By the way, we got nailed with snow overnight here in the Portland area--6-8 inches with more to come. Definitely no scooter riding today!

    Motorcycle Wave

My experience based on last years' riding is similar to yours. I try to wave at all two wheeled, motorized, vehicles when practical. Helps to build that feeling of brotherhood out on the open road.

    odd starting problem this morning

See my 7-24-2016 "Scooter won't start" posting in the General Discussion archive. Describes a similar sounding starting problem with some good feedback from the community. Since that episode in July I have been adding Startron Gas Additive after each fill up. No starting problems since then.

    C650GT Cover

I recently purchased this cover from Discount Ramps in a size large. I store my scooter in the garage, but when I ride over to our beach cabin the scooter is parked outside, and that's when the cover comes in handy. I am very happy with this cover, and the price is right. For light duty I...

    Scooter won't start

I talked with the dealer today about the starting problem. Based on the symptoms I described, they believe the problem is fuel related. The service rep says they have seen this issue with other 650 scooters, describing the problem as seeming like the engine is flooded even though it's fuel...

    Scooter won't start

Thanks for the information. This product is available at my local Home Depot so I will give it a try.

    Scooter won't start

See my updated post. I rode the scooter last weekend--no problems. It has been parked in my garage all week. At one point last week I started the bike on the center stand, but did not move it. It only ran for 10 seconds or so. Maybe that's what caused the problem?

    Scooter won't start

Got on my 650GT this morning for a ride. Turned the ignition on. Pre-start dash indicator fires up. Battery is strong. Plenty of fuel. Side stand up. Brake engaged. Hit the start button and the starter cranks away but engine won't fire. Can not get the bike started. Good thing it's still...

AeroFlow Windscreen Low - First Impression

I am 6'2" and the stock screen was simply too short for me. Lots of buffeting around the head and shoulders. Plus it was just plain noisy. The shape of the Aeroflow, in addition to its height, seems to provide more protection and a smoother, quieter rude for me. That said, if the stock...

AeroFlow Windscreen Low - First Impression

I just installed an Aeroflow screen (size Large) on my 2013 GT. After my first test ride I concur with all of your observations. Now I know what my scooter sounds like because I can hear the engine! Big improvement over the stock screen and one of the easiest changes to make.

    C600 Sport Tunnel Bag

I ordered the Shad SC20 tunnel bag for my 650 GT a couple of weeks ago. It, too, obstructs the storage compartments but I don't have a problem with that. For about $50, including shipping, I think it's a pretty good deal. http://www.shadonline.com/SHAD-SC20-Scooter-Tunnel-Bag-p/sc20a.htm
