Cruise control install

It looks like I'll be installing the Rostra electronic cruise control in my K1100LT after all. I wanted to put it in the scooter but after talking with the dealer it looks like it could void my warranty. So rather than do it now it will have to wait for a year and a half to run out the warranty. So back to the original plan install the CC in the K bike no warranty issue there.

Well the warranty runs out next month so it's kinda moot. I'll have to do a good bit of research on this because I'm not sure what kind of snag I'll run into with the CAN bus. Still looking for a good electrical diagram of the bike and it's systems. I was caught off guard when I installed the dual horns and caused a battery fault to show up.

Good news today, my dealer called and they have parts for the brake line recall. It'll be done on the 7th of next month.
