So, since as you already know, voir dire means to speak the truth. If it comes down to miniscule differences, no matter how small, are you able to say, "You know guys I am a dyed in the wool Yamaha fan boy - but I have to admit - the C600 is a better bike."

I'm looking forward to finding out! I really don't care which way it turns out, as I'm not making any foreseeable changes in the short run. it's ALL good!

Well, then your half way there with DYNO results, just use mine and get a local shop to dyno the 530.
I also am a fan of the Yamaha, per my history, I looked at the Tmax but the foot rest just didn't give me the room I needed.

I noticed that too. I have far more flexibility on where I can place my feet on the C650GT than I did on the TMAX. I can even slide them back till they're right under my butt (just like on a sport bike) which makes it a lot easier to attack the twisties. And on long rides, it's a lot easier to stand up and stretch while in motion than it ever was on the TMAX, too. Because your feet were so much further in front of you, trying to stand up on the TMAX was more like doing a "pull up" exercise, and placed you right over the windshield with all of your weight on the front end. Standing up on the C650GT keeps you in the center of the scooter where it is a lot easier to maneuver the bike and stretch. These little things add up on long rides.

The seating position on the C650 IS a bit more vertical, so you can move your feet back a bit more. The C600 is pretty close to the same as a Tmax 500, with more room to extend your legs.

(They ADDED legroom to the Tmax530. It now has the SAME legroom with the seatback all the way FORWARD as the old Tmax500 did all the way BACK; about another 11/2 inches, close to the C600.)

The C600 Sport I noticed has floorboard extensions that should allow you to slide your feet back so they're directly beneath you too. I saw some TMAX 530s when I was in Europe a couple of years back and I didn't notice that feature on them... your feet are still limited to being "in front" of you, not directly beneath you. As a long time sport bike rider, it really does make a difference to be able to plant your feet back.
