hey new to the forum and the bike, I have a Burgman Exe 650 that I've had since 2015. Now I just got the 650gt three weeks ago. l like the bike so far but when it is cold out it is slow to start and the trunk space is not as big as the Burgman. I want to put in some LED headlights, so does anyone know of a better way to install bulbs other than going blind under the front of the bike? I am waiting for my repair manual to get here soon, there is not a BMW bike shop near me for 20 miles or so dam should have looked that up before I got the bike huh? I look forward to any advice on this site, so everyone have a safe and blessed day.

1) Welcome.

2) I owned two Burgman Execs, for a total of 11 years. Very nice bike. I own a C 400 GT now, so no help from me.

3) 20 miles? That’s it?

Welcome, Leslie!
GT has less storage than C650 Sport (!) and no FlexCase. I see many are putting up centre boxes on.
On my Sport, I have toured Australia without any boxes, up to three weeks with just a soft bag and soft 5L pertol flex can on passenger seat strapped to hand rails.
But suspension and general "posture" of GT is better, at the cost of agility.
You've made a great choice, congrats and welcome again.
There is no better CVT bikes than these, and I have tried Aprilia SRV850 which is a meaningless hog with more highway power at the cost of everything else.
