New Seat From Corbin

If you noticed my post of how I choose to tie-down, there is a reason why it's in the back of my Tundra. Heading out to California for work early Mon morning. I have already visited Corbin once and this time I will be dropping off my C650GT for them to use to design the seat pan in order for them to offer one of their seats to the market.

The whole process should take 3 to 6 weeks but with my work and the 110˚F and above temps we've been experiencing here in Phoenix, AZ, I wouldn't be riding much anyway. So hopefully by mid to late August we will have an alternative to what I think is yet another horrible seat on a very wonderful motorcycle by BMW.

On another note I see that Paige at AeroFlow is just about done working his magic on a windshield. Looking forward to getting one of those as well.

I've already pre-ordered my windscreen from Paige. So far, I'm not having any issues with the stock saddle on my GT. However, in the not-so-distant past I have had MULTIPLE issues with Corbin products. It was best summed up by someone who told me: "Corbin's customer service needs to improve by a major order of magnitude to merely 'SUCK.'"

Good luck with them.

Update on the development of a new saddle from Corbin. Should be done by the end of the first week in Aug and I will pick up the following week.
