Replacing leg shield

A while back someone hit my moped (lol) otherwise known as a C600 Sport and the only damage I did not repair/replace was the leg shield. A small piece on the lower right side broke off and while its only cosmetic I want to replace it. A&S website states that there are 2 different leg shields -one for before 8/13 and another for after 8/13. My bike is a 2013 so how do I tell the exact month to order the correct shield? In the attached image it says the price is $104 which seems way too cheap for BMW - am I missing something?

Can I assume nobody is able to help with the date part of this post? So used to getting responses but maybe the silence is because I'm a Blue Jays fan!

Hey Colin if look back there was a Web Site that you can go to an it will tell you the build date
