Saddle bag suggestions

Has anyone mounted some saddle bags/cases to their 600 sport? I am hoping to go on a few extended trips and obviously the under seat compartment will not be sufficient. I was looking at the GIVI Easy lock saddle bag holder as a starting point and then shop around for some good quality saddle bags to mount on it. The GIVI TPH10 bags were looking promising but the reviews are not very good with de-laminations issues etc...

Top boxes have been discussed in other threads and I may explore this option as well but I am not keen on the look of the boxes I have seen as they extend quite far behind the bike.

I like the looks of the Silver series givi and the easylock bag that goes with the givi frame is prob the all round easiest to live with. Other than that I'm curious what others might suggest as well

I purchased the givi easylock mounts (very sturdy) and used some older seat hanging saddlebags that I attach to them with tarp grommets and cord.

Give me a couple of days and I should be able to post pictures of the 21 Liter GIVI hard side bags on my GT. I already have the bags but according to FedEx the mounts should be delivered tomorrow. 21 liters is not very big but I have used them a several bikes and I like them.

No it won't be on a Sport but the bags should look similar when mounted.

I ordered side mounts (or racks) and a rear box mount (required when ordering side mounts for a GT) and I ordered them from Sport Tour Ltd - Adventure Touring and Sport Touring Accessories. The part numbers for the GT are PL5106 & SRA5106 but the Sport part numbers are different (AND LESS EXPENSIVE TOO!).

I checked it out but they don't seem to make these mounts for the Sport... The only one listed are for the Easy Lock bags.

Yes it appears that for now they only make hard bag mounts for the GT.

I will start a new thread for the GT mounts and hard bags.

Checked with GIVI and they are not planning to make hard bags/mounts for the Sport, bummer!

Funny... since it has less underseat storage than the GT, you'd think sidebags for the Sport would be a NATURAL...

There is the easy lock system available from givi with Sport specific hard mounts. Givi rear rack not required.
